DSBSC (Double Side Band Supressed
Carrier): The MCI496P
(6,7) is a low cost integrated circuit that will
generate a DSBSC (Double Side Band Supressed
Carrier) signal at the fundamental frequency through
six meters (4). To enhance band-width, balance, gain
and impedance matching, two 2N5486 FETs (2) are
used in grounded gate (cascade) configuration with
100 microH inductors in the drain circuits.
